This Monday felt like a real working week, and for a good reason: I got some jobs. Finally!
Have landed a job at the One World Theatre, in their marketing and sales department. It's going pretty well, and my manager has trusted me to open up the office on Sunday (for a four hour shift), so that's good. It's a beautiful place to work, I like the people, and it pays.
Fuzz.com is set to launch pre-SXSW, and I have some stories to work on which are due on Monday. My boss over there hopes to put them up on the front page on Wednesday.
And, on Tuesday I have an interview with an editor at the Statesman. He said we're going to discuss pay scale and contracts, so I'm pretty optimistic. Over the weekend I'll develop some pitches, and I sure hope there can be some assignments for me. I'm ready to accept them.
